Third Thursdays Benefit Neighborhood Center

November 17, 2010

11/18/10 Last year the Neighborhood Center created a new program with the Plymouth Community Schools to help support the Food Pantry on a regular basis.  A program call Third Thursday happens each month during the school year.  The various schools in the corporation are each asked to supply a specific couple of items.  Each school collects their required items and they are transported to the Neighborhood Center to help fill up the pantry.

Thursday, November 18th is the Third Thursday.  If you have children, grandchildren or neighborhood children that attend a school in Plymouth, please encourage them to donate.

The following is a listing of the items each school collects for the Neighborhood Center.

Jefferson Elementary: Peanut Butter and Jelly
Menominee Elementary: Pasta and Spaghetti Sauce
Washington Elementary: Pancake Mix and Syrup
Webster Elementary: Mac & Cheese and Instant Mashed Potatoes
Riverside Intermediate: Paper goods-toilet paper, paper towel, Kleenex
Lincoln Jr. High: Canned fruits and boxed cereal
High School: Canned veggies and soups

Remember that this happens on the Third Thursday of every month, so your help and continued support is appreciated.
