The Plymouth Athletic Booster Club recently teamed up with Tim Martin Buick GMC for a “Drive One for Your Students” event. For every person who test drove a brand new Buick or GMC, Buick donated $20 to the Plymouth Athletic Booster Club. With the outpouring of support for Plymouth student athletes the Plymouth Athletic Booster Club received a check for $7,080.00 from Buick.
Each year the Plymouth Athletic Booster Club gives over $24,000 to student athletes at Riverside, Lincoln Junior High and Plymouth High School. “This could not have come at a better time for us,” said Booster Club President Gwen Calvert. “With the changes in the spring track schedules the booster club board was trying to figure out ways to be able to still raise the money for our kids and the success of this event will really help.”
