Plymouth Hosts a Regional Humor Speech Contest

This Saturday at the Plymouth Public Library, the Wythougan Toastmasters will be hosting a regional Toastmasters International competition.
Two local Toastmaster members, Rodney Jacobs and Annika Piazza will be participating and representing the Wythougan chapter at this year’s Area 13 Speech Contest.
Toastmaster chapters throughout the northern Indiana region will be sending up to two members to join the competition and share comical speeches with the public. Toastmaster judges will be available to evaluate and official timers will make sure that the event is completed in a professional Toastmaster manner. There will be approximately ten to twelve humorous speech presenters. Winners will continue to the state level to compete.
Topics include a variety of subjects such as Las Vegas memories and a recent house buying nightmare.
The public is welcome to attend, free of charge and enjoy the humor shared from the contestants. Event begins this Saturday, August 28 at 9:00 a.m.
