08/08/11 Marshall County Republican Party Chairman David Holmes announced two Town Conventions.
The Town of Argos will hold a convention on Thursday, August 11th at 7 p.m. The convention will be held at the Argos Community Schools, 500 Yearick Street. Republican representatives of the Town of Argos will meet to fill a vacancy on the ballot for the Argos Town Clerk-Treasurer.
Bourbon will hold a town convention on Wednesday, August 17th in the Matchette Center at 805 North Harrison Street. Check in will start at 6 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. at which time the doors will be locked and the convention will begin. The convention is being called to fill a vacancy on the ballot for the Bourbon Town Council.
