11/26/13 Due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday this week, the city trash pick-up will be changes.
Those city customers who normally have their trash and recycling picked up on Thursday will have their schedule pushed back on day. Allied Waste is closed Thursday so Thursday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday.
Please remember that your trash and recycling are to be placed at the curb for pick-up by 6 a.m. Another reminder is to be sure the lids on your trash tote and recycling tote must be closed because items overflowing may fall off. It the lid is not closed the tote will not be emptied.
All trash must be in the tote. Any items placed outside of the regular trash tote will not be collected without a special pick-up appointment which is to be set up with the trash hauler.
