Downtown Tree Lighting on Friday

November 22, 2011

11/23/11 The annual Christmas Tree lighting event in downtown Plymouth will start at 5:30 p.m., Friday November 25th with Christmas music provided by Mark Miller and members of the Plymouth High School choir.

Santa will arrive on the back of a fire truck at 5:45 and folks should gather in front of the City Center building at 114 North Michigan Street for the festivities.

In addition to the tree lighting there will be free carriage rides from 6-8 pm on Garro Street between the Museum and Centier Bank.

The Marshall County Museum will have their trains running starting at 6 PM, and all are invited to join Santa at the fire station after the tree lighting for hot chocolate and cookies.

Bring your children and your caroling voices for this fun and uplifting evening to welcome in the holiday season.
