01/28/13 Kindergarten students at Triton Elementary School celebrated the 100th day of school last week with a variety of special activities. Travis Barnhart, a kindergarten student is pictured reading a poem on the announcements about the 100th day of school! Kindergarten used to be learning to tie your shoes and sharing your toys. It’s very academic now and kindergarten students are reading by this time of the year. Superintendent Donna Burroughs said, “We encourage parents to read to their children from birth to help prepare them for school.”
