Langdon Brothers Visit During Holidays

December 26, 2010

12/27/10 The popular Christmas song states “there’s no place like home for the holidays” and grandsons for Jean Langdon would readily agree.  Jean resides at Miller’s Senior Living Community and her three grandsons, Tyler, Travis and Andy were all able to make it home to Plymouth where they visited with their grandmother and other family members this holiday season.

While visiting their grandmother they took time out of their Christmas plans and talked with all the residents at Miller’s.  Tyler who recently won the coveted 2010 Hollywood Discovery Award told about the thrill of walking the red carpet to receive his award. He also took time to thank all the residents, especially his grandmother for their encouragement and for the votes they cast on-line to help him win the award.

Tyler also shared stories of his adventures in Hollywood where he is striving to become an actor.  He continues to try out for various parts in sit-coms, dramas and movies.  After Christmas when he goes back to Hollywood he will wrap up an indie film he is working on titled “Nerve” in which he has the lead roll.

Andy, the youngest brother is also in California pursing a career in film.  He is attending Loyola Marymount where he studies film making.  Travis who is attending Purdue is an engineering major and may consider going into the field of sound or technical design.

By the smile on Grandma’s face you can tell that she is proud of each of her grandsons and is very happy to have them home for the holidays.  Tyler, Travis and Andy are all graduates of Plymouth High School.  They are the sons of Bill and Mindy Langdon.  After hearing the young men speak and watching them interact with their audience it is not beyond reason to think they could all be walking the red carpet some day.
