U.S. GRANULES ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

10/05/12 U.S. Granules Corporation (USG), a world leader in the production of specification aluminum granules with manufacturing facilities in Plymouth, Indiana and Henrietta, Missouri, announces the promotions of James Faulstich, Nick Chaney, and Bryan Howard each Marshall County natives and graduates of Plymouth High School.  USG is committed to the growth and development of its employees and management team as well as to the local communities in which it operates.  USG continues to reinvest in its manufacturing operations committing over $2.3 million in capital projects and improvements over the next 24 months.

  James Faulstich has been promoted to Vice President, Administration & Technology responsible for company-wide oversight and execution of accounting, administration, human resources, information technology, safety, and quality assurance.  He began his career at USG in 1993 as Laboratory Technician and continually grew in his responsibilities including promotion to Quality Assurance Manager in 1994 and Technical Services Manager in 2001.  James graduated in 1993 from Marian University, Indianapolis (formerly Marian College) with a Bachelor of Science and double major in Chemistry and Mathematics.  While working, he attended Indiana University South Bend graduating in 1998 with a Master of Business Administration.

  Nick Chaney has been promoted to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities Manager responsible for company-wide oversight and execution of production scheduling, process control, and the engineering design, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities.  He began his career at USG in 2007 as Laboratory Technician having previously worked in quality assurance in the performance rubber industry.  In 2010, he was promoted to Projects Manager, executed numerous mission critical initiatives, continued involvement in quality assurance, and grew to fulfill production, engineering, and facilities management responsibilities.  Nick is a graduate of Manchester University (formerly Manchester College) with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.

  Bryan Howard has been promoted to Quality Assurance Manager responsible for the company-wide oversight and execution of quality assurance.  He began his career at USG in 2010 as Laboratory Technician having previously worked as an analytical chemist at a world renowned commercial laboratory with broad national presence.  Bryan graduated in 2007 from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry.
