12/23/10 On Monday, December 27 Indiana Senator Ed Charbonneau (R) is scheduled to visit with Judge Dean A. Colvin and Court staff to see a demonstration of the Court’s video conferencing capabilities with the Marshall County Correctional Facility.
The Courts of Marshall County in cooperation with the Marshall County Sheriff, County Council and Commissioners installed the video conferencing system as a cost saving measure for accessing individuals held in the local correctional facility eliminating transportation and personnel costs to the county.
Marshall Superior Court No. 2 has initiated contact with the Indiana Department of Corrections to further develop video conferencing with DOC facilities throughout the State of Indiana.
