04/03/13 Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) and Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) Tuesday announced an upcoming “Academy Day” session in northern Indiana to provide students the opportunity to learn more about applying to one of the U.S. Service Academies. The informational session will take place on Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. ET at the Grissom Air Reserve Base.
Representatives from both congressional offices and the academies will be available to speak with individuals about life at a U.S. Service Academy, the application process through the senator’s office and tips on how to improve applications. The academies include the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point and U.S. Naval Academy.
