01/30/13 On Sunday, January 27th at approximately 7:40 AM, Marshall County Deputy Les McFarland went to a residence on 5th Road where registered sex offender William Rodriquez resides to complete a sex offender check.
Arriving at the home contact was made with Mr. Rodriquez. During that same time Officer McFarland detected the odor of burnt marijuana came out of the residence. Consent to search was given by Mr. Rodriquez. The search revealed a small amount of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. Deputy Bryant assisted in the investigation and a case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review and possible criminal charges being filed.
