The Ohio man stopped by Marshall County Police on Monday for speeding is facing a murder charge in Ohio.   

Marshall County Police stopped a vehicle for speeding Monday morning at about 6 on U.S. 30 and Michigan Street.  The vehicle fled from officers and the pursuit ended in Wanatah.

A female passenger in the vehicle told Marshall County Police she was being transported against her will and that other crimes were committed by the driver.   

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department contacted Powell, Ohio Police on Monday a told them of an alleged murder in the community. When Powell police went to the address, they discovered a male deceased within the residence.

Brandon M. Toleque, 31, is being held in the Marshall County Jail on local criminal charges of Resisting, Reckless Driving, Criminal Confinement, and Possession of Cocaine.  His initial bond of $1,500 has been revoked and his new bond is $10,000.  Toleque is now being held with NO BOND for the Murder charge in Delaware County, Ohio.  He is expected to be extradited of Ohio to face murder charges in the future.
